Position Overview:

We’re seeking a seasoned CTO / Tech Lead to guide our development team and oversee the technical direction of our projects. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality code, optimizing IT infrastructure, and mentoring team members. Key Responsibilities:

●  Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and inspire the development team, fostering a collaborative and innovative culture.

●  Technical Expertise: Ensure the delivery of high-quality, efficient code and oversee the design of scalable software architectures.

●  Performance Optimization: Monitor and enhance the performance of IT infrastructure and development processes.

●  Strategic Planning: Contribute to strategic planning, aligning technical efforts with business goals and industry trends.

●  Project Management: Oversee project planning, execution, and delivery, ensuring timely and effective completion.

●  Collaboration: Facilitate effective communication within the team and with other departments, and collaborate with product management to align on requirements and roadmaps.

●  Problem-Solving: Address complex technical issues, provide innovative solutions, and manage technical risks.

Technical Stack:

●  Frontend: Svelte.js, JavaScript, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS

●  Backend: Node.js, Postgres, q/kdb

●  Cloud: AWS

●  Related Technologies: Python, C/C++, Rust, Linux, WebAssembly (future)

●  Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

●  Experience: 7+ years in software development, with at least 2+ years as a Tech Lead.

●  Skills: Proficiency in C, Rust, Scala, or Go. Experience with functional programming, REST APIs, various databases, and Linux environments.

●  Leadership: Strong leadership abilities, with a proven track record in mentoring, decision-making, and project management.

●  Communication: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.

●  Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing technology landscapes and business requirements.

●  Experience with AWS cloud services, Docker, and DevOps tools.
